2025 State of Neurodiversity in Baton Rouge Annual Conference

Thank you to our sponosors, speakers, and attendees for a successful inaugural conference!

The Capital Area Autism Network (CAAN) hosted our inaugural annual conference, The State of Neurodiversity in Baton Rouge, on October 1, 2025, bringing together families, service providers, business leaders, and community stakeholders to shape the future of autism and neurodiversity support in Greater Baton Rouge. With CDC estimates indicating 1 in 31 children are diagnosed with autism, the need for coordinated community support has never been greater.

This landmark conference featured a preview of CAAN's comprehensive annual report, a keynote address by Mayor-President Sid Edwards, legislative updates from Senator Franklin Foil, and valuable networking opportunities. Sessions focused on creating pathways to success through education, employment, healthcare, and community integration.

Thank you for joining us as we build deeper connections across the community!
